Become a Certified Nurse Assistant at Adventist Health!

A California Preparatory College Program approved by the California Department of Public Health

 

A 60-session online program taking a little over 12 weeks followed by a bonus 2-week CNA license exam test prep class

CDPH approved online classes of 18 modules taught via a live video-conferenced lecture in real time

62 hours of online classes with 100 hours of in-person clinical training at Adventist Health or affiliated skilled nursing facilities

Classes held during weekday evenings and Sundays

Full Scholarships are available for Qualified Applicants

● Students must pass each module exam with a minimum passing percentage of 75%

 


Program Requirements

● Medical Exam (including TB test), LiveScan Background Check, and Drug Test
● Minimum Age of 18 at time of course completion
● Reliable Computer and Internet Access using up to date Chrome 30+, Firefox 27+ and/or Safari 7+ browsers; broadband wired or wireless 3G or 4g/LTE; computer speakers and microphone (built-in, USB plug-in, or wireless Bluetooth); webcam (built-in or USB plug-in); operating systems of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11 or macOS X with macOS 10.9 or later; iOS and Android tablets also are acceptable
● High School Diploma or GED Preferred

● Virtual Interview & Completed Registration Form and Documents

● Employee Eligible

 


Program Cost

● Tuition: $2,300 (Adventist Health Scholarships May Be Available)
● Cost of textbook, exam prep workbook, LiveScan background check, drug test, and license exam fees included in tuition
● Additional Costs (approx $175)

○ Cost of uniform/scrubs as required by clinical facility (and comfortable, closed toe shoes)○ Stethoscope
○ Cost of highlighters, note-taking supplies (i.e. paper, post-it flags, notebook/3-ring binder, pens/pencils, etc.) 
○ Cost of medical exam and required vaccinations (may be covered by student’s current health insurance)
○ Face coverings or PPE to be worn in labs and at facilities as required by the CDC, CDPH, or other State or County regulatory bodies during clinicals are provided at no cost to students
