Campus Location

San Bernardino/Loma Linda Area

Our building is located in southwestern San Bernardino County and is considered part of the Inland Empire. It is bordered on the north by the city of San Bernardino, on the east by Loma Linda and Redlands, on the west by Colton, and just south is Riverside County.

CPC students appreciate this strategic location as it is essentially “the Hub” of many Southern California activities like entertainment, shopping and eating venues – all close enough to enjoy following a hard study session or the completion of that group project!

RESTURANTS

CPC students have many fast-food options like Starbucks, WaBa Grill, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Del Taco, El Pollo Loco, Jack in the Box, Subway, and Carl’s Jr. all within walking distance or a short drive from campus.  Then there are sit down restaurant options as well that include: Sayaka Japanese Restaurant, Maharaja India Cuisine, El Torito, Happy Family Vegetarian Chinese, IHOP, and Denny’s within a short distance.  Other than the American steak houses and burger joints, the surrounding region is known for many great ethnic food places that include Thai restaurants, Mexican restaurants, Korean restaurants and about anything that your palate desires!

SHOPPING

Find bargains on brand names at major shopping centers

The only thing better than scoring the perfect outfit or designer shoes is to get them for a bargain price. That’s why shopping in the Inland Empire can be so sweet—it’s a hot bed of top-quality outlet centers and malls filled with designer and brand name finds.

The biggest of the bunch is Ontario Mills in Ontario. With more than 200 stores, it literally has brand names from A (Abercrombie & Fitch) to Z (Zumiez). Look for great deals in clothes and shoes for men, women, and children, plus accessories, electronics, sporting goods, and home wares.  Also within distance is Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, Tyler Mall in Riverside, Mountain Grove and Citrus Plaza in Redlands, and the famous Cabazon Outlets on your way to Palm Springs in Cabazon.  Given the variety and selection of these shopping options, almost all major retailers and specialty shops are within a short drive from campus!

ENTERTAINMENT

California Preparatory College students have a wide variety of entertainment options within the Inland Empire or within driving distance throughout all of Southern California.  There is enough things to do to keep a student busy for days, weeks or months exploring all of the options and areas of interest. Within a few minutes of campus there are several movie theaters in San Bernardino, Rancho, Ontario or Redlands.  Of course, Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm theme parks are both within an hours drive.  Than there are Southern California beaches, the local mountains, and numerous parks and recreation facilities in the local San Bernardino National Forest for those who love the outdoors.  Los Angeles and Orange County are close enough to cheer on the local professional sports teams like the Dodgers, Angels, Lakers, Rams, Chargers, Kings and  Ducks.  Than there are the concert venues from the local Redlands Bowl to the world famous Hollywood bowl and all types and sizes in between.  In fact, there may be too many entertainment options for CPC students!  As they say, “work before play” – but “play” has lots of options around here!
