This program is currently offered at select Adventist Health hospitals including Adventist Health Sonora.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
- 60-session online program (~12 weeks) followed by a 2-week CNA license exam test prep class.
- 18 CDPH-approved online modules taught via real-time live video lectures.
- 62 hours of online classes + 100 hours of in-person clinical training at Adventist Health or affiliated skilled nursing facilities.
- Classes held during weekday evenings and Sundays.
- Full scholarships available for qualified applicants.
- Students must pass each module exam with a minimum score of 75%.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- Medical Exam (including TB test), LiveScan Background Check, and Drug Test.
- Minimum Age of 18 at time of course completion.
- Reliable computer and internet access (updated system and browser specs recommended).
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Virtual Interview & Completed Registration Form.
- Must be Employment Eligible.
PROGRAM COST
- Tuition: $2,300 (Adventist Health Scholarships May Be Available).
- Includes: textbook, exam prep workbook, LiveScan background check, drug test, and license exam fees.
- Additional Costs (approx. $175):
- Uniform/scrubs and closed-toe shoes as required by clinical facility.
- Stethoscope.
- School supplies (highlighters, notebooks, post-it flags, pens, etc.).
- Medical exam and required vaccinations (may be covered by insurance).
- PPE (face coverings) provided at no cost per CDC/CDPH requirements.
